If you like romanticism and fun both, enjoy the story of this wonderful wedding!

If you want a special day that represents your lovestory and your personality truly, I’d be happy to talk about your fabulous wedding in Tuscany https://www.solevents.it/en/contact/

WEDDING IN PIEVE DI SANTA CECILIA A DECIMO NEAR FLORENCE

The wedding ceremony took place in a Parish Church called Pieve di Santa Cecilia, it is a mix of Baroque and Romanesque style. It was decorated respecting the main theme of the wedding: peach roses, white lisianthus and eucalyptus. Do you know the special meaning of eucalyptus? The leaves of eucalyptus are usually closed until the flowering time because this plant preserves the beneficial properties. Offering a leaf of eucalyptus means to give protection, support, love.

The rite was touching, the harpist made the atmosphere evocative and solemn, the smile of the bride and the groom was contagious!

The Catholic ceremony ended with the throw of the rice and petals. Throwing white rice at the newlyweds when they set foot out of the place of the ceremony is an Italian tradition and it symbolizes a wish of happiness, fertility and prosperity. What a wonderful moment!

WEDDING RECEPTION IN VILLA CASTIGLIONE IN FLORENCE

The wedding reception and the wedding dinner were set in Villa Castiglione, in the heart of Chianti Classico, not far from Florence. This wedding location has the accomodations and the restaurant on site, the venue like this are perfect if you want to celebrate until late at night. Walking the paths, you can find several corners to take the pictures with your wedding photographer, while the guests enjoy the welcome cocktail in the panoramic terrace with a view over Florence.

WEDDING DINNER IN VILLA CASTIGLIONE IN FLORENCE

The wedding dinner represents not only the conviviality of the party but it is the union of the families of the couple, it is the right moment for the speeches, the smiles, the good taste. It is very important that the atmosphere is romantic and merry.

Ludovica and Francesco delighted this special moment with a duo who played the background music, singing the most beautiful love song between courses. There was also a talented caricaturist who entertained the guests with the quick funny portrait, it was a souvenir of Ludovica and Francesco’s wedding day. All the invites appreciated it very much!

The wholesome food and the perfumed wine warm your hearts as well as the speeches and the music truly move everyone. However you can’t forget that the aesthetical look is always of primary importance. The eyes of the guests are attracted by the details: the romantic candles on the table, the colors of the flowers, the napkin’s ribbon matched with the bridal bouquet.

The centrepieces were tall with a floral bouquet on top. I love this kind of wedding centrepiece, it is wonderful above the round tables. Just a suggestion by the wedding planner! The bouquet on the top has to be higher than the head of the guests or they won’t be able to see everyone. Attention to detail shows the care, the politeness and the love with which you welcome your guests. Make it special!

THE WEDDING CAKE AND THE FIRST DANCE

The atmosphere was magical at nightfall, it really looked like an enchanted garden. The wedding cake was the Italian millefoglie, made with puff pastry, cream and chocolate chips. A sparkling wedding can’t be without romantic fairy lights twinkling against the night sky… it was the icing on the cake!

I could go on about this wonderful wedding that was an unforgettable day not only for the couple but also for me. As the wedding planner, I’ll always remember Ludovica and Francesco because even if they had different personalities, they fit together like two puzzle pieces. I really hope that all the couples can build a strong connection like this, based on respect and love. I really wish Ludovica and Francesco a fantastic journey of life together!
